Flag Hill Introduces 2 New Products
Sugar Maple Liqueur and Cranberry Liqueur Hit the Shelves
Sugar Maple Liqueur will make it's official debut on Sat. March 4th. Just in time for the sugaring season in New Hampshire, the Sugar Maple Liqueur - a blend of NH Grade A Amber Maple Syrup and General John Stark Vodka - will make its official appearance in a 375 ml bottle, retailing at $17.95 If you enjoy the taste of Maple Syrup, this product is a must have!! We've heard lots of great uses for it : over ice cream, as a coffee flavoring, some have even said "what about pancakes". Well, that certainly would be a jump start on your pancakes in the morning!! We prefer to enjoy it just as it is, straight from the bottle and perfect as an after dinner dessert. We did find a couple recipes you might enjoy the Sugar Maple Liqueur with:
Negus: 3 shots North River Port, 1 shot Lemon Juice, 1 shot Sugar Maple Liqueur, Top with hot water. Garnish with Nutmeg Dust and drink in a Toddy Glass.
Niagara Falls (Champagne Cocktail): 1 shot General John Stark Vodka, 1 shot Mandarin Neapolitan, 1/2 shot Lemon Juice, 1/2 shot Sugar Maple Liqueur, top with Gingerale. Shake drink and serve in a champagne flute.
Hot Toddy: 2 shots whisky, 2 shots Sugar Maple Liqueur, 3 cloves, 1/2 shot lemon juice, 2 spoons of honey, top with hot water. Build and stir drink in a toddy glass, garnish with a cinnamon stick.
We will also be tasting and selling a second liqueur product on Saturday - our new Cranberry Liqueur, also available in the 375 ml bottle retailing at $15.95 The blend of cranberries and General John Stark Vodka will leave your mouth in a pucker and asking for more !!
