What's New at Flag Hill

Flag Hill Distillery featured in Yankee Magazine

Flag Hill Distillery is proudly featured in Yankee Magazine's July 2006 issue as part of an article about New England distilleries.  The article begins with an interesting section about vodka, including some its historical roots in the U.S. and in New England.  This is followed by a bio about each of the 6 distilleries in New England along with a beautiful picture of each vodka product.  At the end of the article you will find a section entitled "How Do the Vodkas Taste?".  This is our favorite section of the article and why we'd like to give credit to our distiller - Graham Hamblett.  A quote from this section: "A recent blind tasting of eight vodkas by eight aficionados (admittedly not experts) produced one unexpected result: The two top vodkas were distilled from apples. Nashoba Valley and General John Stark Vodka [from Flag Hill] scored highest and were hailed by most of the tasters for their subtle sweetness and softness." [Yankee Magazine, July 2006, pg 79]
